Miscellaneous

This structure was given to my wife, Karen. Its very interesting for the human interest it presents.

Sam had a fondness for half timber structures. The one below is a good example of  the care he took fitting the walls, and attachments to make a fine appearence. Since this is the rear of the buildings, there is not much interest, but note the grabage can.

Now, look at the front of the structure. It's a boutique, with some real action going on. There are lots of details outside the building, as well as in the interior. It's a well kept storefront, and the patio area is interestingly decorated. There are shoppers both inside and out.

Sam liked his structures, and the people he placed around them to tell a story. The image below is a great example of this. The two gentlemen on the steps are a bit down on their luck. The one with his back to us has bottle in his hand. The one sitting on the steps has one boot off (not visible in this angle). The lady with the broom is clearly unhappy with their presence in front of the boutique. The folks to the left are watching to see how it comes out. This is a Sam Taylor classic.
