Därligen
My Därligen area has it's focus on the Vollmer
Bahnhof Därligen.
However, since it is at the edge of the village, it needed some
interesting structures. Beside a few of my own, there was Sam to fill
in the gaps. And fill them well he did!

I've never seen a kit like this antique shop before. The stucco sides
with the beautiful artwork are made of paper. Sam very carefully cut it
to fit exactly. It came slightly weathered. The stonework sides are
plastic, and Sam painted these and added the alternating red and white
colors to the arching bricks over the windows and doors. It's a really
nice touch. Notice the slight weathering on the dormer near the
vent pipe.
Below is Garage Kent (named after one of Sam's sons). It's a typical
shop with living quarters above.

I have been trying to find the manufacturer and number for this kit. If
anyone knows, please send
me a note.

Inside Garage Kent. Everything one needs to repair those Mercedes in
the neighborhood is here.
The Därligen area has some farms, too. This one has a lot of
appeal.
