Old Business: None
New Business:

Elections of Officers--
Nominations from the floor included President  - Bob, C.J., and Tim -- C.J. was elected
VP          - Bob, Jim -- Bob was elected
Secretary - Tim -- Tim was elected
Treasurer - Jim -- Jim was elected

Dues were collected for local ($10) and national ($20).

Modules--
There was a discussion of module standards. Although at the November meeting it was decided to use the SoCal ETE standard, we did not have the Yodelbahn standard being written by Andy Hohl to consider. Tim recommend we consider this standard as well. A brief comparison was made.

The Yodelbahn standard uses electrical connectors (molex) which are much cheaper than the national ETE standard. An adapter cable where each end has one of the differing standard's connectors would allow connection of modules of differing standards.

Marklin track is not cheap. There is also a need to modify the switches in order to run DC.

Yodelbahn does not have a big following. Only corner modules can be used because loops would cause the wrong electrical current to meet at the loop return.

Chuck moved we stick with our decision of November to build to the SoCal standard. Jim seconded, and the motion was carried.

Clinics--
Steve again brought up the desire to see clinics held at future meetings on subjects such as coupler adapting, engine tuning, etc. We had a lively discussion about this. C.J. suggested whoever was interested in a particular topic could have this as the focus when they hosted a meeting.

Misc.
It was suggested that whenever a club member wishes to sell items, if they want to offer these items at a discount to club members, they contact either C.J or Tim so communication to the club can be made. Chuck said he had equipment he is willing to donate to the club.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:40.

For the next several meetings, the venues will be
          January   - Andy O'Brien
          February - Bob
          March     - Fred (tentative)
          April        - Tim and Karen

Respectfully submitted,
Tim Johnson, Secretary
